  • What Is Included With My Stay?
    Patient's Stay will include complete & personalized, 24/7 availability of certified & post-surgical patient care-experienced nurses & caregivers. All nutritionist-inspired meals & healthy snacks with planned ingredients that aid in your recovery. Laundry service - including special laundering of your faja/shapewear. Professional, friendly & discreet transport service from your surgery location to Casa by Linda’s, transport to & from your doctor’s follow-up appointment & emergency care transportation (in the unlikely event that you would require that). Also, in addition to enjoying the hypnotic sights of the ocean—we also provide a few other in-house options (like air-conditioning, Wi-Fi, Netflix, HBO, Disney, Spotify, books, puzzles, etc.) to help you enjoy your time with us. Companion's Stay will include lodging, 3 meals/day, and laundry service. Companions will want to either bring their own snacks and special beverages, order them from a local store, or hire one of our drivers to take them to the store.   • Where Are You Located?
    Casa by Linda – Recovery Guesthouses are both located coastally in the beautiful & safe communities of Punta del Mar & Punta Bandera, Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico. Both communities (less than 2 blocks apart) boast ocean views that help you relax & mend. Conveniently, we are just 15 minutes south of the U.S. border with San Diego, along the picturesque Baja California Scenic Highway, in safe & friendly, gated communities. We usually plan for 30 minutes travel time when scheduling rides to & from most surgery centers & doctor's clinics, to factor in the unpredictable city traffic.   • Do Your Guest Rooms Have Air-Conditioning Capabilities?
    Yes, all guest rooms have air-conditioning available. There are a couple weather charts below for Tijuana that you might find useful. Please keep in mind that our recovery homes are along the Pacific Coast of Tijuana & therefore will be 5-10 degrees cooler than inland Tijuana. NOTE: Layers of clothing are good to bring with you, as you can see in the Average Hourly Temperature in Tijuana chart below, the temperature can vary greatly throughout the course of the day. We have temperatures very similar to San Diego, California as a reference.
  • Is It Safe For Me To Travel & Stay Alone During My Recovery Stay?
    Yes. Hundreds of thousands of medical tourists from around the world safely travel to Mexico each year for medical purposes. However, although we completely understand the stress & worry that traveling to a foreign location can cause; when you stay at Casa by Linda—you will not be alone. We provide the location, staff & services (both included & optional) that will help to ensure that you have a successful, safe & restful recovery experience. Also, keep in mind that we do offer our guests the choice to bring a companion (spouse, partner, family member or friend) with them to stay in their private room for an additional “Companion Stay” fee (which does include their lodging, 3 meals/day & laundering of clothing).   • Will There Be A Certified Caretaker Available 24/7 For Me?
    Absolutely. Post-surgery, you'll have a certified nurse with dedicated post-operative patient care experience available around the clock. They'll assist with personal care, medicine management, pain control, wound care, nutrition, and more. Compassion and care are integral to everything at Casa by Linda – Recovery Guesthouse, exemplified by our dedicated nursing staff. Please see our Amenities section for more information.
  • Will I Have Help To Shower, Change Clothes, Tend To My Dressings & Launder My Clothes & Compression Garments?"
    Yes. Casa by Linda’s comprehensive aftercare includes assistance with personal care such as showering, changing of clothing, tending to wounds, special laundering of your post-surgical compression garments as well as your regular clothing, etc. They will also be preparing you for taking care of yourself once you go back home by showing you how to wash and get into your garment and things of that nature. NOTE: It is recommended that you have two of each doctor approved compression garment(s)—so that you may be wearing one while the second is being washed & given time to air dry.   • What Meals Are Included With My Stay?
    Patient's Stay includes nutritionist-inspired breakfast, lunch, dinner & healthy snacks with planned ingredients that aid in your recovery. High quality, fresh foods are chosen to help reduce & control inflammation, constipation & pain—along with reducing the risk of infection. Meals are served to you wherever you are most comfortable—ocean view dining room, ocean view outdoor patio or your own bedroom. We do, of course, cater to guests with specific dietary needs (allergies, vegan, keto, vegetarian, pescatarian, etc.). Companion's Stay will include 3 meals per day of what our patients receive. Companions will want to either 1) bring their own snacks and special beverages with them, or 2) order their own snacks and special beverages from a local store, or 3) hire one of our drivers to take them to the store.   • What Transportation Is Included With My Stay?
    Casa by Linda’s provides professional, friendly & discreet transportation service with drivers who will safely & comfortably get you to where you require & back. We will pick up from your surgery location at time of your discharge & bring you back to our recovery guesthouse, we will transport you to & from your follow-up appointment with your surgeon, & we will also provide emergency care transportation, in the unlikely event that you would require that, during your stay with us. NOTE: Your stay does not include airport transportation or transportation to any added medical appointments or recreational outings—however, that transportation can be arranged with us. If your doctor requires you to travel daily to them for your lymphatic massage appointments - there will be a transportation cost added for our services. We do offer in-casa massage services - but some doctor's insist on using their own at their facility. If you stay PreSurgery with us and pay the convenience fee - this will also cover your transportation to your surgery admission. Local Transportation: $25/one way w/additional stops $5/each & wait time $5/per hour (includes cost of scenic road tolls) Please see our Pricing section for more information.
  • Can I Have A Guest Stay With Me?
    Yes. To better accommodate patients, Casa by Linda will accept companion bookings. Companion's Stay will include lodging, 3 meals/day, and laundry service. Companions will want to either bring their own snacks and special beverages, order them from a local store, or hire one of our drivers to take them to the store. --Additional Nightly Rate For Spouse, Partner, Family or Friend - non-binary & gender-inclusive --Nightly Rate Depends on Length of Stay* 1-2 nights @$100, 3-5 nights @$75, 5+ nights @$50 NOTE: You &/or your companion may request to add a sightseeing trip or medical/dental appointment during your stay with us—& we would be happy to consult with you regarding transportation & referral pricing & availability.   • Can I Stay at Casa by Linda's Before My Surgery Date?
    Yes. We understand that you may want to get situated into our Casa by Linda guesthouse before your surgery date. We also understand that you (& perhaps your companion) may want to do a little sightseeing or schedule an additional medical appointment in Tijuana before your surgery date. Regardless of the reason, we do offer a Pre-Surgery Stay rate for you and your companion of $150 per night - plus a $50 one-time Surgery Night Convenience Fee. This will include your meals, snacks, laundering of clothing & transportation to your surgery--and in addition patient/companion can leave their luggage in their room, & companion may stay in room the night of surgery, if they aren't allowed to stay w/patient at surgery center. Recreational, sightseeing & medical appointments/activities & transportation can be arranged for you also. Please see our Pricing section for more information.
  • Can I Extend My Stay at Casa by Linda's?
    Absolutely. You and your companion can extend your stay with us, subject to room availability. Whether you seek more rest and care by the ocean, wish to enjoy delicious meals, dine out, watch the sunset, or schedule additional medical appointments, we'll strive to accommodate your preferences. Extended Stay Inclusions Meals, snacks, and laundry service for you and your companion are continued in your nightly stay rate. Transportation to recreational, sightseeing, medical appointments, activities, and airport can be arranged for your convenience.
  • What Items Should I Bring With Me?
    We have put together a list of items for you to consider bringing with you on your recovery journey with us. NOTE: depending on your surgical procedure—there will be surgery specific items that your surgeon will need to approve for you (i.e., body compression garments, liposuction foam, body pillows, etc.) & may offer at their office &/or include them in their surgical pricing package. Please make sure that you have that conversation with your surgeon before arriving. For your convenience, you may also purchase (with surgeon approval) compression garments, liposuction foam, body pillows, etc. from Casa By Linda. If items are not in stock with us, delivery times are normally 1-2 days. Recommended Items: Passport (&/or other needed travel documents ex. birth certificate with raised seal) & photo government or state I.D. personal care products—i.e., toothbrush, toothpaste, hairbrush, hair accessories, reading glasses, sunglasses, contact lenses & supplies, face & body lotion, deodorant, lip balm, etc. NOTE: depending on your surgery type, you will NOT want to use items such as face & body lotion, deodorant, lip balm, etc. Please confirm these and other details with your surgeon. compression garments (surgery specific items to be approved by your doctor)—i.e., post-surgery bras, post-surgery girdles, compression shorts & leggings, body garments, arm compression sleeves, abdominal binders & compression wraps, compression socks, face & neck garments, BBL garments, etc. NOTE: please bring with you two of each surgeon-approved compression garment(s)—so that you can be wearing one while we launder & air dry the other. These compression garments, liposuction foam sheets & body pillows may be included with your surgeon’s surgical package pricing, or they may be for sale at their office. Please make sure that you have that conversation with your surgeon before arriving. For your convenience, you may also purchase (with surgeon approval) compression garments, liposuction foam, body pillows, etc. from Casa by Linda. If items are not in stock with us, delivery times are normally 1-2 days. comfortable, loose-fitting post-surgery clothing—i.e., maxi dresses, nightshirts, muumuus, button-up style pajama tops, etc. that are easy to slip on & off after surgery post-surgery body pillow(s) to aid in sitting or sleeping positions (like the BBL pillow). NOTE: These compression garments, liposuction foam sheets & body pillows may be included with your surgeon’s surgical package pricing, or they may be for sale at their office. Please make sure that you have that conversation with your surgeon before arriving. For your convenience, you may also purchase (with surgeon approval) compression garments, liposuction foam, body pillows, etc. from Casa by Linda. If items are not in stock with us, delivery times are normally 1-2 days. your favorite anti-slip slippers or slip-on shoes without laces (we provide some you can use, just in case) cell phone & cell phone charger laptop or computer tablet & charging devices (good Wi-Fi is available on-site) books, magazines, puzzle books, etc. (reading material available on-site) headphones/earphones refillable water bottle (we have one for you to use—however, some guests really like to have their favorite one with them) NOTE: You will notice that there are many necessary products not on your “To Bring List”. This is because, for your convenience, we’ve included them in our one-time medical supply closet fee of $39. We know that you will want to travel lightly & not have to worry about every little need that you might have while you are away. The one-time $39 medical supply closet fee includes, but is not limited to, the following items: bed pads, nitrile gloves, band-aids, body gauze & wraps, tissues, feminine sanitary pads, tampons, nausea bags, medical tape, antibacterial soap, rubbing alcohol, peroxide, toilet paper, earplugs, arnica tea, cotton balls & swabs, hand sanitizer, body wash, shampoo & conditioner, razors, an assortment of non-prescribed general supplemental medications (i.e. acetaminophen, ibuprofen, melatonin, enemas, tramadol drops, anti-nausea pills, stool softeners, etc.) & the use of a robe, slippers, hair dryer, hair straightener, walker & wheelchair during your stay.
  • Are There Wheelchairs & Walkers Available At Casa by Linda’s?
    Yes, wheelchairs and walkers are available for your use during your stay at Casa by Linda's.
  • Can You Accommodate My Dietary Needs?
    Certainly. We cater to specific dietary needs, including allergies, vegan, keto, vegetarian, pescatarian, etc. Please inform us of your dietary requirements before your arrival at Casa by Linda, so we can ensure your meals and snacks meet your needs.   • What Is Included In The One-Time Medical Supply Closet Fee?

    Yes. There are many superb local dining establishments that you can drive to or hire our drivers to take you nearby where you may enjoy a leisurely afternoon or a fun sunset experience. Also, keep in mind that not only are there some wonderful restaurants & cafes nearby to visit—Casa by Linda’s recovery guesthouses’ also serve up delicious meals & spectacular views of the sunset hitting the Pacific. Recreational & sightseeing activities with transportation can be arranged for you also. You could even consider lengthening your stay with us as we have both Pre-Stay & Extended Stay offerings available. NOTE: Some doctors do not allow you as a patient to leave the recovery house after surgery. Please discuss this with them and adhere to their instructions. Some doctors also offer particular medical spa type treatments that their prefer you go through them for services--so please inquire with them--before booking services with us.   • What If I Want To Schedule Additional Medical Appointments/Procedures During My Stay?
    Tijuana has world-renowned physicians, experienced staff, modern & well-equipped hospitals & clinics. Many people come here for surgery/procedures in the areas of dental, bariatric surgery, cosmetic & reconstructive, orthopedic, cardiovascular, cancer treatment, stem cell therapy & for anti-aging. If you would like to schedule other medical appointments/procedures while you are here (& your surgeons agree to it) Casa by Linda can arrange for your transportation. If you need help deciding which doctor to go to for a specific procedure—please inquire with us about a Casa by Linda referral. Linda has over 8 years of experience working in Tijuana with doctors & surgeons from a variety of different fields & has built a strong trust with her guests as an honest, caring & knowledgeable consultant.   • What Is AMCPER & CMCPER? Why Is It Important That I Make Sure My Plastic Surgeon Is Listed With One or Both of Them?
    Certainly. AMCPER stands for the Asociación Mexicana de Cirugía Plástica, Estética y Reconstructiva, or the Mexican Association for Reconstructive Plastic & Aesthetic Surgery. CMCPER stands for Consejo Mexicano Cirugia Plastica Aesthetica Reconstructiva. These are plastic surgery boards similar to the American Board of Plastic Surgery. When opting for any cosmetic or reconstructive plastic surgery procedure, it's crucial to choose a certified plastic surgeon who is a member of AMCPER and/or CMCPER. This certification ensures that your surgeon has undergone extensive training and is qualified to perform the surgery.
  • I Want He/She/They/Them To Stay With Me During My Recovery—Is This Allowed?
    Yes. We know that most recovery houses do not allow “males” to visit or stay with their guests—however, we are not that recovery house & we don’t discriminate against any of our guests or our guests’ companions no matter how they identify. So, to better accommodate our guests, we do allow them to bring their choice of stay companion to share their personal bedroom. Companion Rate (1-2 nights @$100/night, 3-5 nights @$75/night, 6+ nights @$50/night) Companion's Stay will include lodging, 3 meals/day, and laundry service. Companions will want to either bring their own snacks and special beverages, order them from a local store, or hire one of our drivers to take them to the store.
  • How Far Away Are You From the Hospitals and Surgery Clinics?
    We are about 15-20 minutes away from most of the hospitals and surgery clinics. However, we do allow 30-40 minutes for your transportation to/from surgery and to/from your follow-up appointment--to allow for the unpredictable traffic in Tijuana. We would rather get you there a little earlier than your surgery admission time or your appointment, than have you arrive late.
  • How Will I Get From Surgery To Casa by Linda’s & Then To & From My Follow-Up Appointment?
    Casa by Linda’s offers professional, friendly, and discreet transportation services. We ensure a safe and comfortable journey, picking you up from your surgery location, transporting you back to our recovery guesthouse, and taking you to/from follow-up appointments with your surgeon. Emergency care transportation is also available if needed during your stay. Please note that airport transportation, additional medical appointments, or recreational outings are not included but can be arranged by Casa by Linda’s.   • Is It Cheaper For Me To Fly Into The San Diego (SAN) or Tijuana (TIJ) Airport?
    For international travelers, flying into San Diego, CA (SAN) tends to be more cost-effective than flying into Tijuana, MX (TIJ). American Airlines has flights between Phoenix and Tijuana. You may want to search flights for both San Diego and Tijuana as more airlines add flights directly to Tijuana. Keep in mind that Casa by Linda can arrange airport transportation, and it's advisable to book an afternoon return flight for optimal travel times.   • Are There Items That I Can Order Through Casa by Linda When I Arrive?

  • Do You Offer In-Guesthouse Lymphatic Massage?
    Yes. Casa by Linda does offer lymphatic massage (or manual lymphatic drainage) in-casa by a certified lymphatic masseuse. Massages are offered to you in the privacy & comfort of our guesthouse at $50 per session plus a $10 in-casa service fee. Let our trained staff assist you with increasing the flow & health of your lymphatic system with a technique that requires deep, slow & gentle strokes that can boost overall immune system function. NOTE: please confer with your surgeon regarding the use, frequency & instructions for obtaining post surgery lymphatic massage. Some surgeons will require you to receive the massages by their staff & at their own location. You may hire our Casa By Linda drivers to transport you to & from the appointments.
  • Do You Offer In-Guesthouse Deep Tissue or Relaxation Massage?
    Yes. Casa by Linda does offer deep tissue and relaxation massage on-site, as well as facials, IV therapy, etc. Massages are offered to you at $50 per one hour session plus a $10 in-casa service fee. Let our trained staff assist you and/or your companion with reducing stress, muscle tension and pain.
  • How Much Of A Deposit Do I Have To Pay To Book My Stay With You?
    Casa by Linda requires a 50% deposit if booking within 3 months of your surgery date. Bookings of over 3 months from your surgery date requires a $150 deposit to reserve your room. Your balance is due upon your arrival.
  • What If I Book A Reservation With You & Decide To Cancel or Leave Early?
    If you decide to cancel your reservation with Casa by Linda before your scheduled surgery date, a cancellation fee of $150 will be charged, in addition to the amount equivalent to a regular one-night stay with us. If you reschedule your surgery, we can hold your deposit for you if you prefer to avoid the cancellation fee.
  • What If I Need To Stay Longer Than Expected At The Hospital?
    Absolutely. In case your doctor recommends a longer stay at the surgery center than initially planned, you have two options. You can extend your stay with us (subject to availability), or if you decide not to extend, we will provide a 50% refund for the nights you had originally reserved with us but won't be utilizing.
  • Are The Prices Listed On Your Page In U.S. Currency?
    All the prices displayed on the Casa by Linda website are in U.S. dollars. If you require assistance in converting these amounts to your local currency, various online currency converter tools are available for your convenience. Please see our Contact Us section if you have any questions.
  • What Payment Methods Do You Accept?
    Casa by Linda accepts payments through various methods: Debit Card Credit Card (with a 3.5% processing fee) Zelle (Jewitt Services: 619-889-0895) Venmo (@Linda-Jewitt - Linda Jewitt or Jewitt Services) Upon making the deposit, it's requested to provide a screenshot of the transaction via email. The reservation will be secured once the deposit is received, and full payment is required by the arrival date.

Artisan soaps, dolls, refrigerator magnets, shot glasses, tequila, mexican candy, african shea butter, etc. We also sell travel size antiseptic spray and antiseptic soap, drain holder bags, bbl pillows - round and rectangular, fajas, camisoles for fajas, compression socks, etc.
  • Do You Have Any Fajas, BBL Pillows, or Travel Size Antiseptic Sprays For Sale at Casa By Linda?
    Yes, our Casa By Lindables Micro Store sells fajas, bbl pillows - round and rectangular, travel size antiseptic spray and antiseptic soap, drain holder bags, camisoles for fajas, compression socks, etc. We also have some souvenirs/gifts available for sale like artisan soaps, dolls, refrigerator magnets, shot glasses, tequila, mexican candy, african shea butter, etc.
